Opening up and sharing your finances with someone is one of the most vulnerable things you can do. It's almost like getting naked with a stranger.

Prior to coaching we will discuss any anxieties you may have and go over the paperwork you'll need to submit prior to our meeting, which is done either via Zoom or in person if you're in the North Idaho area. The meeting will last about 90 minutes and you'll walk away with a spending plan customized to your goals.

If you need on-going accountability and support we can discuss options during the meeting to make sure we're setting you up for success.

FAQ

What Exactly does a Daily Money Manger do?

Ever wish you had a financial wing woman? Enter your daily money manager. We handle all the tedious financial tasks that you'd rather avoid, like paying bills, managing your bank accounts, and keeping those pesky creditors at bay.

Check out this article from American Association of Daily Money Mangers for more information.

How can I trust someone else with my financial information?

Your financial info is like your secret diary – private and personal. That's why we treat it with the utmost care, like we'd want someone to treat ours. Plus, I'm an Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC®) with a clean background check with both the state of Idaho as well as AADMM on file. I also have a rock-solid reputation for honesty and discretion, if you have any questions or concerns I'm happy to answer them!

What is the difference between a financial coach, a Daily Money Manager, and a financial advisor?

Think of it in fine dining terms: A financial advisor is like your server, recommending the best dishes (investments), but you're the one who ultimately decides what to order.

A financial coach is more like a kitchen-savvy friend who teaches you how to cook (manage your finances) so you can whip up a feast on your own.

On the other hand, your daily money manager is like the executive chef and food taster rolled into one—we explore the best way to do something and then we make sure the details are handled so you can confidently enjoy your food.

What can I expect from the first few meetings?

For financial coaching and daily money management, the first few meetings are like dates in a new relationship, minus the awkward small talk and all the damn swiping. We'll get to know each other, delve into your financial situation, and talk about your goals and dreams. It's a judgment-free zone where we lay everything on the table.

How often will we meet or communicate once we start working together?

Like any good relationship, communication is key. In the beginning, we'll chat often to get everything in order. Once we're cruising, the frequency depends on your needs—it could be monthly, quarterly, or whenever you feel like a financial heart-to-heart.

What happens if my financial situation changes drastically?

If life throws you a financial curveball (hello, unexpected inheritance or surprise layoff), we're here to help you navigate it. We'll adapt your financial plan faster than you can say "Holy sh*t! What am I going to do?"

How does The Witty Dollar ensure my financial information is kept secure?

Your financial info is locked up tighter than Fort Knox with a password locker of your choosing to ensure your data is safe.

Can I stop using your services if I decide to take over my finances again?

Absolutely! If you decide you're ready to fly solo, we'll cheer you on. Our goal is to empower you to manage your finances with confidence.

How is the cost of your services determined?

Our services are as unique as you are, so the cost varies depending on your needs. But don't worry, we'll discuss all the details upfront, no hidden fees or surprise charges here.

Can you help me with investment or retirement planning?

While I'm not an investment advisor, I can definitely help you get your finances in order so you're ready to chat with one. Think of me as the one who helps you tidy up before the party.

My finances are a disaster- is it too late for me?

It's never too late to learn how to adult! We can absolutely work together to come up with a plan. It might take some time and a lot of work, but we can get you back on track.
